Default How to get more torque ?

Hello,

What will make a noticeable difference that you use and recommend ?
I ride a 2003 FLHRCI stage 1 (SE mufflers and air cleaner, the EFI has been updated) .
The one thing I can'tcan't go is for 95' or higher :troubles in case of accident and injury [&:]

Thanks,

JJ

You won't gain torque, but will feel a big pull difference in the seat of your pants if you swap to 3:37 primary gearing.

A 2 into 1 exhaust?

That's next on my list. Already did the '07 stage II 103".

Been researching on the forums here and it looks like the supertrapp 2 into 1 will get you the highest numbers, while still being not too much louder than the SE slip-ons. That also means adding a power commander or comparable efi mod.

Another option is new cams. Afraid I don't know enough yet to give a recommendation for your engine though.

I am getting 71.48 horses and 77.96 torque with the supertrapp supermeg 2-1 on a stage 1 bike

how would you get "in trouble" ?? there's nothing illegal about giving your motorcycle a little oomph.
HD sells a street legal 95 & 103" performance kit.

Exactly...........stage 1 stuff can only do so much no matter what exhaust you use. 75 hp and 80 torque is about the best you'll see from an 88" stage 1 bike............nothing too impressive.

These kind of discussions make me chuckel, at what RPM do you want moretorque? With various combinations more TQ can be made at 1000, 2000, 3000, etc, etc,RPMs, where do you want it? The age old question, "how fast do you want to go doing what".?
