Default Flathead motors

Ok gang.
Is there a place to buy reconditioned Flathead 80's
I at one time had a 1940 80" And I wouldn't mind another one.

at the AMCA swap meets you find them in pieces and if its together it would be in your interest to re do it

cheaper to buy a running bike BTW

I'd suggest you join the AMCA (Antique Motorcycle Club of America). You can go to their website and see when there's an AMCA meet near you. If you're looking for a rider, as Johnjzjz says, it'll cost considerably less to find one that's already together and running than to hunt down and buy parts to put one together. You'll find plenty to do to it even then. Depending on condition and correctness, expect a wide range of prices.

Everything already said, buy as much of a complete bike as your budget will allow. I bought mine in 2014, not running in ten years, no title and questionable transmission. i got lucky with the motor and she started up pretty quick, long battle with the transmission and then an entire season of riding and wrenching. Everything on the bike is suspect until it has been fixed at least once. And then the vibrations might get to it. A lot of fun, but a lot of time and effort. Again, buy the best one you can afford.
