Hard to no start
70 psi does sound a little low, my recollection is with my previous stock compression I had about 90 psi. But that was 6:1, if your motor is 5:1 IDK, need JohnZ to weigh in.

For those who are following this post.
The main culprit was the coil.
replaced with another vintage coil and that was it.
Goes to show you even if it has spark it might not be strong enough.

Just an FYI, I lived the bad coil issue for years. Sometime they lasted 6 months, sometimes an hour. I strongly recommend you get a quality coil from the manufacturer I listed in a previous post. The reproduction coils on the market now are such pile of crap, you are just asking to get stuck on the side of the road. Good luck.
