I rode the bike to work all week, all is well until....

Riding in Friday morning, I start getting a miss about 2 miles from work. Pisses me off since I had been adjusting the Linkert all week and the bike was running great, but I assume I fouled the plugs again!?!?!?! I limp in to work.

Let her sit at work for an hour to cool off, roll her into the shade and I am going to do a quick plug change. Go to the rear plug, and the wire to the brass terminal is completely broken. Well that will explain the miss. Wire was too short to just wrap around the plug terminal, so we had to get very creative with electrical tape to get it together. Ran OK with some misses for ten miles to home. I have a new set of wires in the shop, life got in the way this weekend and never went back to her. But I got AC installed in the basement, so when I do go to fix, I will not be sweating my ***** off, that is a plus.

In the 40s they sold a rubber boot for the plugs - BUT nOOOOOOOOOOO you have to use black BX cable rapped around the plug

Indians used them as well and they are available through the suppliers i am going to order a couple sets any way soooooooooooo

i will picture up what they look like if i remember as this is way down on my list

45 Restoration sells the wires with the full boot, but you know me, gotta go for the LOOK of the exposed wire and plug.

Default plug wires

I have these that are not original, but nice quality.
My ignition is not stock so I don't need them.
15" length
$5 shipping would do it

Thanks for the very fair offer, but those terminals will not work with my coil.

No problem. Just one of many things I bought and can't use!
