Default Help identifying Flatheads before buying

Hello all

I came across these two Flatheads and they've been offered to me to buy. I'm in the middle east. It is rare to find such bikes here. They need a lot if work and it is
hard to trace back and find references. Hoping you guys can help.
I would love to rebuild and either keep depending on their rarity or sell if sought after.

Excuse the bad photos, they were sent to me. Hoping to go check them out in person soon and take a closer look and better photos.
Some of the photos are of the original condition, then after rebuild, then again after neglect and damage.
the photos that show their worst states are the current conditions. Hope this is clear.

Much TIA for the support.

Perhaps the largest source of 45" parts "over there" is JW Boon in the Netherlands

Per the VIN's, one is a 1941 WL, pre-War worth more, one is 1946 WL. WL is 45 cubic inch flathead or side valve. Hard to tell if all of those pictures are of the same bikes. Just post pics of the two bikes in their current state.

Cheers. These photos are the current of the bikes.
Is it possible to find photos of the exact models in original form and know the colors they were painted in. Thanks again.

If I could afford them, I'd buy both...

If you can, you should.

Bear in mind if you fully restored them properly you would have way more into them than they are worth even if they were given to you for free. It's a labour of love.

Both bikes are rough with lots of mix and match parts for different years. If they have good paperwork, I would start at $10k for the pair. But you really need to want them to get into that much trouble, good luck.
