Clutch disc replacement
Getting ready to perform a clutch overall on my 1969 Servi Car. This is my first Flathead 45, any suggestions or tips to make life easier from those who have gone before me.....
If you've done a panhead or shovelhead it's pretty much the same except if memory serves the primary cover is easier to take off. Had a 41 wla decades ago.

It only took about 2 1/2 hours to replace the fiber disc, metal plates, and springs and please consider I am very old and slow. Last week I also replaced some very nasty fork oil with some fresh 20 weight via the drain holes. The Old Girl is going into gear much better, shifting like new, and most of the front end wobble has disappeared. It is now on the road, tagged with a Virginia 1969 period correct plate, and insured. Looking forward to summer and some long 4 or 5 mile trips, that includes going and coming. Thanks to all to contributed.......
