I am in search of a specific 1946 Flathead WL that was owned by my father. He had to sell in it in 1984, in western Missouri, when the GM plant in Kansas City closed and he was forced to start traveling to find work.
The bike had black paint with chrome heads and exhaust. Not much to go on, but I can't post pictures very easily on here.
If you know anyone who has a 1946 WL, please let me know or have them contact me. I have the VIN and some specific information about the bike to put two and two together. Thank you.

you are going about it incorrect -- this a good site BUT -

i would take out an add in the national mag of the AMCA - i would join and than take out an add a few times next year - with pictures and all the info about the Bike leave off the last 2 numbers of the chassis number

You could probably have the MO DMV search the records for the current owner if they are still in state. Their might be a fee involved.
