While I realize your job is keep these forums organized, If I wanted my thread to be moved to a rarely seen category where response would be less than adequate, I would've posted it there to begin with.
This is a touring models forum. A topic such as a long road trip, requesting information of tools to bring, places to protect the bike if I broke down etc. is NOT outside the realm of this particular forum.
More importantly, this evening...37...yes, that's 37 whole members are viewing the "Road Trip" thread...while over 1600...yes that's ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED VIEWERS are viewing the "Touring Models" forum thread.
Why would you think I want my thread moved to where only 37 people are looking at it?
By my accounting of the threads in this forum, most should be relegated to the "Tech" portion of this website if we are really going to hold to some arbitrary "Thread Content Standard" as most are concerned with maintenance, exhaust selection, intake selection, etc.
Yes Galdog...I like to mix it up once in awhile. If it gets me in trouble, so be it. Having my thread kicked to a little viewed forum makes my post useless anyway so I might as well not even come on here.
I read the forum rules. I should probably pull this thread as I think it can be taken as attacking the moderator.. I do not mean to ATTACK the moderator. However, I can't find the place to PM the moderator directly, so I'll leave it on here so they can just explain why it was appropriate to move it. Then I can file that away as a lesson learned.
Apologize for the hostility...I guess I'm just that kind of guy!
