Up until now I have always been able to use the attachment icon ( vertical paper clip with drop down ) to chose a file to insert an attachment into a thread or reply up until this morning. When attempting to do so now I can hover the mouse above the attachment icon and it "turns blue" but will not activate. Have I ( inadvertently ) changed / reset an option which would cause this? I can see nothing in the user cp that would relate to this. I thought that it may have something to do with the amount of attachments that I have posed to date so I deleted as many as I could. No difference. I should also not that I cannot access "manage attachments" either. Any help would be appreciated.
It still works for me. Might try logging out and back on, something might have gone haywire. Lately, I've been having to log on just to open some threads, didn't use to have to do that.
Yep .. Logged out , back in ... ni difference. Shut the computer ( did a cold reboot ) still no difference ... I appreciate the advice ... still looking for help :>)
When you click on the "Reply to Thread" button, the paper clip is in the middle of the first row of icons, just to the right of the smilie face.
When I hover the cursor over it, it turns blue and an "Attachments" text bubble pops up. If I click on the drop down list I get the standard "Manage Attachments" dialog box.
So, no problems here. I know that doesn't help you...
