So is the dyna forum going to have to merge with the softail forum now they don't make them(dynas) anymore, sort of like they did with fxr's?

Why? Dynas still exist, they just don't make new ones.

They need to make a new section just for the new bikes, they are neither Dynas or Soft tails.

i dont onto understand why people don't just post softail threads in the softail forum. Just because it's a Dyna models on a softail frame doesn't mean they need to be posted here. Or even add a 2018 and up softail section.

I agree, this makes the most sense. Except for the fact that the Moco calls them Softails. I'd have a subforum in the Softail section for the M8 Softails.

The new section for the bastard offspring of the Dyna and Softail should be called the "Mono Shock Models", then it wouldn't offend anyone by mingling with the other two legitimate breads.

A new forum is needed. The Dyna is dead and history. The Softail isn't the Softail any longer, that all changed with the introduction of the '18's.

What's needed is an M8 Softail '18 - up forum for all the new bikes; it cleans up the Dyna forum, and cleans up the Softail forum of all the nonsense.

Legacy bikes, my friends, we ride legacy bikes now... Long live the Dyna!
