I had this on Firefox too. The server is misreading the browser as "mobile", so you're getting the mobile site. Fixed mine by clicking on the "View Full Site" in the menu navigation.

That makes sense...never used the mobile ...it worked just really simplified...I think this is the problem that a lot of people are crying about...not the automatic scroll

Ok, I give up. What do you mean you fixed it in "Menu Navigation"? Where did you find that?
They better fix this, or tell people how to fix it , or this forum will lose a lot of posters.
Where is the very first page that you show in your picture sequence. I do not know how to get to that page. Start from https://www.hdforums.com You are starting from somewhere that I do not know how to get to. I am not using a mobil device, it looks like you are. I am using a computer browser and I do not have the same menu that you have.
This new interface is horrible for someone who uses a computer browser to interact with the forum. You should at least give the option to go back to the previous way of viewing. I will not be interacting much until you fix this.

Go into your user CP>Go to "Settings and Options">"Edit Options">scroll down to "Thread Display Options"> scroll down to "Infinite Scroll Disable" and check that box (a circle really)>scroll down and click "Save Changes">Close browser>Bob's your uncle
