Default Pictures

I'm having a difficult time up loading pics. I have several pictures, all taken at the same location within minutes of each other. I'm using a iPhone as my camera. When I try to upload them only one uploads and I get an invalid extension for the others. They all have the same extension. The only difference I can see is the file size. I can't find information to help in the FAQ section so I'm wondering if any of you know what I'm doing wrong and how to correct this.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

BTW I'm asking the question here because many of you post terrific pictures and obviously know what you're doing.

No I-Phone experience here ... I'm android and use the "horizon" picture ( next to the smiley face ) to upload pictures

Are you on wireless when you upload or are you using your cell data?

What iPhone and what version of iOS? The newer iPhones take pictures in different formats of the same image. That could explain the improper format error. I believe this forum only excepts .jpg and the iPhone takes .jpg, .heic and .raw depending on settings.

THe wife and I have indentical iPhones, on te same account and her pics will upload to the Cloud with no problenms.
Mine, however will NOT even if I'm setting right by my computer and modem (I've tried)!

Again which iPhone and version of IOS? What trouble shooting have you done? Without that information we can only guess as to your issue and possible solution.

First step I would take if you haven’t already done so is logout of ICloud then log back in. Are you doing backups to ICloud and only the pictures aren’t transferred or is nothing being backed up?

Have you ever been able to backup pictures to ICloud? If so when was the last time if not check to make sure in settings that pictures are selected to be backed up.

Keep us informed and maybe will get your sorted out.
