sorry if ths has been asked before. why cant you just remove a thread when you lock it?? instead it just rides dont get it. i know iam not anyone just asking

I depends on the thread. Not going to try to explain it except if a thread violates the rules it is usually removed. There are just too many possibilities to try to explain.
