Lately all the pictures people are posting are coming through pixelated. I have to click on them to see them.

this is an Apple bug introduced with iOS 15.4 and macOS 12.3

I’m currently on IOS 15.4 and seeing the same.
Typo?

ahhh so its NOT my eye sight!

Chrome on both:
Android 12
iOS 15.4

I seem to find coming out of the thread and back in often loads the pixelated pics... but sometimes it takes two or three goes.

Has only started happening recently, never experienced it before

I also am having the same issue, happened right after new upload to iPad.

yes, it's an Apple issue, the 'lazy loader' we use is not firing for some reason. I find you can refresh the page and images will appear and they also work once you 'click into' them.

I did make a typo above, it is an issue on iOS 15.4 not 14.5.

Yup!!! same here, thought it was the browser.

sorry to throw a spanner in that theory but my Droid does it as well! (and I'm an Apple tec)

admittedly I use Chrome on both, but I'm seeing pixelated forum pics on my Google Pixel 4XL as well as my iPad

Apple:
Its NOT a “BUG”, it’s a “feature”. 🙄😆
FYI, Just updated to 15.4.1, no improvement.
