If they are "pop up's" as in opening new windows, that's your PC. If ad's within the forum page itself, use a ad blocker, I use ad block plus, works great.
It is a private company that is offering a free service... someone has to pay for it.
Your absolutely right and I do get that but it has intensified these past couple of weeks. It really does seem like what TwiZted Biker suggested - that it's my laptop but this is the only place I get 'em.
