Don't know ow if this belongs here, but here goes....
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but when I reply to a thread via a notification, I'm brought to the very beginning of the entire thread instead of being brought to the person IN THAT THREAD that I'm replying to.
That's a lot of scrolling sometimes to fine the guy I want to reply to.
For the IT guys, is there a way for us to be brought directly to the post we want?
Again, maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Tx!
AFAIK, any reply in a thread, your new message shows up as the last post to the thread. You would need to go to the post that you want to reply to and either just use the persons name, or do a Quote and then reply. Your response will not show up just below the persons post your responding to.
I don't know if this site will do it, but some, at least in the past, you could select the way messages in a thread show up. You could sort them by a responses to that post or like this one dose, just by newest last or first.
Hope this helps a bit and maybe someone has a better answer for you.
Tom
Beside the thread title is a little down arrow, click on the down arrow and it will bring you to where you left off in that thread.
I struggled with the same issue.
