Default "Tink, tink"

Hello, whichever of you incredibly talented, charming, and good-looking moderators picks this up,

For about a week or so now I've been noticing this noise coming from my computer. It sounds like someone tapping on a glass Coke bottle with a spoon. Sometimes it's one tink, sometimes a double-tap tink. As near as I can figure, it's coming from HDF, but I can't seem to pin it down to what I'm doing or which page I'm on at the time.

Am I imagining this? Is it really happening and is it on this site? Is there any way to stop it because it's really annoying?

Please help! I'm losing my sanity over this mystery!

(Well, OK, not really. But it is a bit irritating, and if it's not coming from HDF, I need to have a good look at my laptop.)

Cheers,
Shawn

I'd believe that, except I'm on a Mac, and most of that stuff doesn't effect us smug b*stards. Nice try, though.

It's coming from the Warehouse Direct ad on right side of the screen. Every time you mouse over it you'll get that tink sound. And yes, it is annoying.

Hope your sanity has been saved.

Jerry,

Thanks for the reply. At least I know there's nothing wrong with my computer or my settings. Much appreciated!

That is correct,,, first time I heard it I thought,, I haven't clicked on anything what the heck,,, it does it when the cursor passes over it or near it,, sometimes it's at the top of the page too!!!
