How do I go about adding one of my own pics to use as an avatar?

First you gotta shrink it down to 100 x 100. Then save it on your PC. Go to your profile and scroll down to the "My Avatar". Click on the "Upload my Picture". The brouse and find where you saved your pic. Click ok and it will say "file uploaded successfully". Then remember to scroll down to the bottom of your profile and click "OK".

Thank you both.. the Duh-Me moment has ( thankfully) passed.. ( for now!) It worked!!

If you want to chg it regularly, get The GIMP image editor software (web search will give you the .org site that has it). You can take ny pic you have and reformat the image in one setting, then save it under a diff name.

I use it on my Linux PCs, and it is great.
