Thumbs down Log in failure

Several times today, from mutiple computers, I could not log in. After logging in, the site would end up with PAGE NOT FOUND. After several attempts, I tried to go to the discussion forums without loggin in and was able to log in sucessfuly on the page that advised I was visiting as a guest.

I've been having the same problem for a week or so.

Also, what do I have to do in order to post an ad in the classified?

I found the answer to why I can't post a classified ad --- I have not made 26 posts.

I have not found the answer to the log in problems, though.

This site must be run by total web-design rookies... This has been going on forever, even after they redesigned the site.

From the opening hdforums.com page, you try to log in, and you now get routed to a page at https://www.hdforums.com/path, which again does not exist, resulting in yet another error message page.

From there you can manually modify the address in your browser back to hdforums.com and hit return and you'll get in, and be signed in (?!), but why they can't get this to work automatically is beyond me.

It's really a challenge to even get motivated to visit this site when it operates so poorly.

If you get the issue, it may be a cookie conflict.
