Problems with this site - Tech problems
Ever since I got rid of a "fake ad" virus a few days ago, this site keeps subscribing me to every thread. My mailbox stays full.
I went to my profile and set it to not subscibe me, then the next morning I am subscribed to all threads again.
What's the fix?

It disabled my firewall and wouldn't let malwarebytes run either. So I went on my other puter and loaded malwarebytes to a memory stick, then booted my infected computer to the safe mode. Malwarebytes ran fine in safe mode and cleared 5 Trojans from the same virus.
Then after rebooting I had to go to "add/remove" programs and get rid of the Spy Cleaner crap that the Fake Ad virus installed.
All is fine now, except for the pesky problem with the subscribed threads.
I suspect that cleaning some cookies will clear this problem. Waiting for my headache to subside and will try that.
