subscription email problems?
Hey everyone,
I've been seeing some people email in with concerns that they aren't receiving emails from the site, for things like thread subscriptions.
In an attempt to narrow down who is affected, we'd like to know who your email provider is for the email account tied to your HDForums account.
If you are being affected by this, please respond below, and let us know who hosts your email.
cheers,
robb

This problem may be fixed guys but if not continue to post below. I'd like you to remove your subscriptions, dump your cache and cookies and reboot your computer (if you continue to have subscription problems) and then redo your subscriptions and see if that helps. Sometimes you have to refresh whenever a change is made.

Today, I got an email that listed all postings made to the Dyna Forum for the 1st time in about a month, so hopefully the bug has been fixed.
I use Gmail to access my email.
FYI, in the past few weeks I have done basic maint on my PC that included clearing the cache, deleting cookies, clearing history, etc.. I also unsubscribed and re-subscribed to the Forum. None of those actions seemed to have any affect on me getting the Forum updates.
Whatever the HDForums IT people did in the last day or so seems to have worked. Thanks for your help!
Most of todays peripherals and other personal WWW devices are extremely stealth and are quite capable at keeping them selves all nice a tidy by simply setting them up to do this on their own.
It is often issues within the site it self that need to be addressed. Hdforums does not prioritize the function of its site.
Normally relies on server it’s to fix everything for them. Least what it seems like to me.
Had we had a dedicated hdforum IT person, we wouldn't be having problems like this

we have a dedicated IT team. Your account is broken because you upload too much ****, and it was automatically censored. We can't overturn the censor as a result of a technical issue that's over my head. As I told you via email, it's on the list, but low priority as it's only affecting your account.
