Unfortunately, tons of software for PC's doesnt play well with Macs. It's slowly changing, and its gotten better the last 2 years, but that's why your having issues.
Now, as to potentially fixing the problem. I dont know what version of Mac OS you are running, but you could always try upgrading to Safari, which is Mac's web browser. It's supposedly supposed to work in place of IE.
Hmmm... I'm running a PowerBook G4, OSX 10.4x, and Safari and haven't noticed any problems with pictures or other forum features. Could you let me know some specifics and I will see if I can duplicate the problem.
Sometimes Safari doesn't like the uploading of photo's etc.
Download the Firefox browser and you shouldn't have any problems - this is what I use when I want to post pics.
