How do i find people in a particular state? Or is this forum even set up for that ? Thanks

 

You can do an advanced search of member by location.
The problem with that though, is some member choose not to list where they are located.

In your case: in a van down by the river in Ga.
As you can see, that isn't an exact "State" field for a data search.

 

On what page do i find the "search" tab/box ? I am looking for anyone in Jax, St. Aug.,Daytona area.

At the top of the page, you'll see the links: User CP, Photo Gallery, FAQ, Members, etc.
Click on Members and the Members search page will open.
On the right you will see the "Search Members" drop down menu. Click on the advanced search.

Just keep in mind that any results will be dependent on members actually filling out their profile with the information.

I prompted debate on this topic a while ago here. New members and existing members changing their details will be prompted to enter their location. It is of wider interest, as foreign members will be able to see their fellow countrymen, just as Stateside members will be able to see fellow State members. Unfortunately it is not possible to make providing such things compulsory!
