Why when i try to open a attachment, try to look at stuff i get this message.

This is pretty aggravating. I can't even open my own attachments. I've about had enough of this.

 

I used to get it on occasional but the more posts you collect the more things will open up to you so don't let it aggravate you. Invest your time and get comfortable with this forum and you'll see it less and less.

just consider it your right of passage for the forum. I am going through the same thing.

 

did that to me for about a week and then it changed,it says it in the rules that it would do that and change after a so many posts and days,guess its to keep the trolls out,

 

U can get Pi$$ed all U want, but it no one's fault but Ur owns.
Did U even take the time to read any of the forum rules or sticky notes that explains the issues.
( I put them in here so U can).

Theirs a lot more in here than U can even imagine, Especially if U don't even look around a little



PROBLEMS VIEWING PICTURES OR PMs?

Hello,
As some of you surely know, weve been getting spammers who join and never post but send out a ton of spam through the PM system and for a change, it isnt another forum.

We have made some usergroup alterations so that new members cannot get to the areas where these spammers are causing problems..mainly uploaded files (pictures) and the PM system.

NEW MEMBERS WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO PICTURES OR PMs UNTIL THEY HAVE BEEN AN ACTIVE MEMBER FOR FIVE DAYS AND FIVE POSTS.

Ive been going through the complaints today in this section about not being able to access PMs or pictures and I see that almost every person with a problem has made less than 5 posts, or theyve been here for less than five days. This is why a great many of the people having the problem later post "nevermind..it works now".

If you are having these problems and you have less than five posts and less than five days on the forum...nothing is wrong. If youve been inactive for a long time, welcome back...post around the forum a little and when the system upgrades usergroups (usually later in the evening) you should be promoted.

If any of you have been here for more than five days and more than five posts (dont assume..make sure), please post in this section with a link to the thread with the pictures that you cannot see.

Copyrighted material can not be posted on HDForums. Do not post pictures that have a copyright stamp on them or bootlegged material, such as Harley Manuals which have been illegally downloaded on CD's. Any violation of this rule will cause the post/thread to be removed and the offending member to be warned or banned (depending on the severity of the violation).

We ask that members keep in mind membership is a privilege, NOT a right, and as a private forum, the administration and moderators have total say as to which members are, and are not allowed.
