Is it possible to run a search for multiple words, seeking only results which contain both (or all) words ... preferably both (or all) words in a specified order?

Here is an example ... I want to search for posts/threads discussing First Gear riding clothes. I tried searching on:

first gear
"first gear"
first AND gear
"first" AND "gear"
First Gear

and none of them provided the limited results I sought.

Any suggestions?
