That damn thing nailed me. Its got the little arrow that made me think its some thread I must have posted in a while back. I'm not stupid, I learn and won't click it again. But it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth about both GM and their crappy advertising tactics.
Last month it was Ford. If you are gonna hate try to at least be informed.

It's not GM, it's Internet Brands, the company that owns this website. Never forget that they exist to make money; this forum ain't about us.
Most just pass it by. I have ad blocker. This is their method of trying to get around folks with ad blocker software. But they have no way to make a member click on it.
No one 'forced' me, man. And I'm not against advertising. And there's ads all over this site already.
But this was a thread, posted by a non motorcycle, non H-D advertiser.
The members' threads complaining about the new advertising threads in a couple other sub forums have been closed. Why is that? Will this one be closed too? I guess the owners don't have to listen to the members, but they wouldn't actually tell us to shut up by closing our discussion would they?

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. I guess these distractive and unwanted spam adds are ok, as long as they don't discriminate against one particular brand.....Jeeez.
