Default PANHEAD ADJUSTABLE TRIPLE TREE AND DAMPER SETUP

Is there anyone can help me understand HOW the original stock dampener for my oem adjustable triple tree works? Also on the lower tree that has the large 3/4 bolt for stem to adjust, does that bolt lock that stem in the angle you want or does the top slider tube plug that bolts into upper tree bracket maintain position?
thanks

Hi MikieT,
I am 100% certain that the experts in the "Panhead and Flathead" forum have already discussed this topic before. https://www.hydra-glide.net/phpBB3/index.php
The forum is hosted in the Netherlands, but is conducted exclusively in english language.
There are many experts sitting and writing there who know exactly what they are talking about; no question goes unanswered!

Highly recommended!(And I mean that very seriously!)

Good luck!

Mike
