Just thought i'd share a problem I found with the Profile wheels on my bike. My Springer Classic is right at a year old and about three weeks ago I was polishing the front wheel and the cloth felt like it snagged on something when I got around one of the spokes. Sure enough, when I looked real close I could see where the chrome had started to bubble and pull away from the wheel and had actually cracked. I checked all the other spoke holes and there were about 12 more where the chrome was starting to bubble. When I checked the rear wheel I found about 6 or 7 holes that were doing the same thing. I took the bike to my local dealership and had the service manager look at them. He said that he hadn't seen that happen before but thats what the warranty is for and ordered two new wheels which are being put on next week. Anyway, for all of you that have the Profile wheels I'd check em real close for the same thing.

 

Take it back to the dealer.
