Default Agitator Wheels - flawed or normal?

My front wheel arrived yesterday, the rear won't be here till Monday so I have nothing to compare this to and I've never looked closely at one of these so I'm not sure if there is an issue or if this is how they are, part of the process or whatever in having a two tone wheel. If you look at the edges between the chrome and black there is a line of little tiny beads, not sure what you call them but is this how the contrast chrome wheels are or is there a problem with this one?

There's another thread about this out there somewhere. It seems it's the new HD Normal.

Sadly Brian is right.. its normal. I purchased a set back in December and found mine to be the same way, asked around and found everyones are this way. Some more extreme than others. You will probably find the back wheel is much less then the front.. Which sucks for its the wheel most never see. The upside, unless you point it out to others, they will never see it.. They are awesome looking wheels regardless.

They were hammered out on a Chinese milling machine - you're good.

Have them on my 2010 CVO Streetglide. They are the same only mine are worse, the chrome is starting to lift on the spokes around the edges. Noticed it when I was wiping the dust off and the cleaning rag got hooked on it. Was looking for a used pair in good shape but gave up as they all seem in the same shape.....sadly even the new ones.
