i just had to express my feelings alil. i bought new 60 spoke wheels about 8 monhs ago and put them on this year in January... my bike is a 07 FLHTC .. i switched out the front wheel to 21 and rear to 18.. my problem is the rear hub cracked into pieces.. i called DNA and showed them pics. they were like at first ... yeah let me put that into our Warantee claims dept.. a week goes by nothing so i call. they say oh no ones called you let me check into it call you right back. day goes by same thing. so i make about 5-7 calls to them over 3 weeks and still no answer .. only answer i got was . i can sell you a new one but i dont know how much ne is and if we have one.. basically 450.00 dollar wheel is junk since i cant get them to give me an answer. i went ahead and bought mag wheel to replace the damaged wheel.. my engine isnt that beefed up so its not like i have tons of power.. this happen when i was on a ride with my girlfriend out riding around
BTW on Ebay they go by MotoTech.. they are based out of So.Calif ... service when i bought the wheel wasnt that good either. suprised they still are in business the way they take care of business.. Will never have Repeat business from me or if i can help it anyone i talk to about wheels..
Unfortunately, you're not the first one to post about bad experiences with DNA wheels. I even seem to remember a post from Dr. V-Twin where he talked about refusing to deal with or sell DNA stuff anymore.
You might want to look into Ride Wright Wheels.
From what i hear moto teks buy all the parts and put the wheels together thier selfs. Might want to blast them and not dna most people where i roll have dna's with problems
dosen`t matter the buck stops with them, if you buy something in china and put it together or just sell it you are reasponsible to the buyer, than they can go after mgf
the wheels was custom ordered thru moto tech 21 front and 18 rear 60 spoke wheel . but when you call them they are DNA company.. i tried to buy a hub or atleast get them to replace the hub so i can get my wheel fixed. but after 3 weeks of them avoiding to return my calls i got tired of calling them and went n bought a Pefromance Machine Mag rear wheel. now that i have that wheel i want to find the match to it and replace the front wheel now... all i can say is i wont buy crap from them again. they wont stand behind there product and give you the run around when you call them about the wheel .
well as of 3 1/2 weeks later they send me an email saying they will replace the Hub and spokes for free. im waiting for a RA# and a shipping Label. hopefully they will make this all right . so far they are making a popint to take care of it . . alil late tho. i already went out and Bought new wheels cause of them. ;(
