That's what attracted me to the Deuce, it's a little different.
it doesn't look like every other Harley on the street.
I'm not a "follower", I like to be different!

I was about to purchase a Dynalow rider when I noticed
this black Deuce in the corner. I immediately saw the great
potential of it's platform. It would have cost me alot more
to put all the chrome that is already on the Deuce on a
Softail Standard. So I think the difference in sticker price is
actually a bargain. Unpopular? Perhaps their are less of them
on the road which to me is just fine. Another + I found was
that you could stick a 200mm in the rear without changing
out the swingarm. Big savings on that one. But in the end
I guess it comes down to a matter of taste of which I am
bias to the Deuce.

The rear fender and the stretched tank are the reason for it's dimise... hmm... that's ok by me because I really enjoy both of them. As for the price, that is a bunch of crap, I know a couple hundred dollars wouldn't scare me away, nor most people spending similar money on a new HD.
IMHO every other HD has a bobtail fender, which I like, I owned a 2000 Wide Glide, but the Deuce Fender was different and looked better to me. So the Wide Glide went and the Deuce replaced it.
Oh and one other thing,
I LIKE MY UGLY *** REAR FENDER AND STRETCHED TANK.
That's my story and I am sticking to it.

It's not really overpriced.
it has a ton more chrome than the softail standard or custom, that's your price difference right there.[8D]
