Make sure you get some thing with heat shields on the lower legs or you will be melting the suit to your exhaust and engine.

Trust me, I KNOW!

I use Gor-Tex 100mph rain suit from Bass Pro. That right!!! Lol
Bass Pro. Little expensive but I stay completely dry and I can ride in the winter and never get cold.

Which brand of rain gear would you recommend?
Yes!

...oh wait I thought the questions was "rain gear AND do you just get soaked"

All my rain gear has magic invisible channels that let water in to pool in uncomfortable and slightly embarrassing puddles.

I think its a design feature.

Oven cleaner. Spray it on hot pipe, wipe off (when no longer hot).

I have a two piece suit from J&P that has worked well for several years. Sometimes a little leak at the neck if it's really pouring. My problem is I always wait until it's raining pretty good until I put the thing on. Then it's really hard to peel the pants back off. It's like its stuck to my jeans. Wrestling myself around in a parking lot like a Houdini escape, only with less success.

EasyOff? Excellent! Thank you!

The HD Pants I just purchased (by FirstGear I think) have those waterproof zippers running all the way up the legs. Haven't had a chance to try them, they are replacing the ones that burnt through from the heat shield, but the zippers are great in general. Having gone head first into a puddle doing the Houdini I'm really hoping the zippers really are waterproof.
