Default 2000 flhrci cam sensor

I'm in the process of changing cam cover , had to grind one flange nut off to remove exhaust pita.....well after an hour removed pipes that haven't moved in 16 years, anyhow I have the cover off and now to the sensor plug is there any easier way to remove without pulling entire cable through harness?

No easier way. When I changed my sensor I pulled the pins out of the plug, taped another wire to the two sensor wires and pulled it out of the loom. Extra wire was to pull it back through. The plug is by the swing arm piviot area. When I do routine maintenance I leave it attached, and zip tie the cam cover out of the way.
You could also crimp some plugs inline. I don't know if that would effect the resistance, or some how give a false reading.
