Cam position Sensor Replacement 2000 Dyna
Looking to replace my cam cover on my 2000 Dyna, and will need to remove the cam position sensor wiring that feeds thru the cover.
Does anybody recommend a simple splice and solder or must I remove the harness in it's entirety?
Any associated risks of resistance problems with a cut/splice method?
I'd rather not tear the entire right side of bike apart if I can splice/solder.

I was able to go where the CPS plugs in the main harness. What I did was pull the pins from the plug. Taped a thin wire to the three wires. Pulled the wires through the fabric conduit, leaving the thin wire for a puller.
