Why don't you call the dealer and ask?
Any answer you get here would be speculation.

That would be determined by the specific dealers. HD dealers are independent businesses, what is true of one may not be true of another. I'd hope that any service provider would give the customer some leeway before charging storage. If left for weeks after service is complete- I'd suspect they may start to charge storage to encourage the owner to pick up the vehicle, and pay their bill.

You posted your question at 2am on a Monday,,
2 days and your hauling it off to someone else to "fix"?
I'd be wondering why the "mechanic" your bringing it to has free time to get at it right away vs the busy shop that can't get at it during the weekend.

I'd be shocked if they did. Harley dealers are renowned for not looking to make a quick buck off their customers.

Now where's that sarcasm emoji again.........

Does it really matter why he is doing it? He`s only asking about storage fees.

No it doesn't matter. The man is obviously clueless.
A mechanic or shop charging "storage" for not doing a job on time?
Give me a f`in break,

Usually they charge for storage once the work is done if you don't pick up the bike in a timely fashion.

or if you just leave your bike there with no authorization to perform any work.
