"We thought that since Harley-Davidson dealers were installing these aftermarket "super tuners" on motorcycles licensed and insured for road use, that it was a clear violation of the "off-road" and "competition" exemption. We didn't realize that virtually all Harleys really are off-road vehicles, in the sense that they travel above the road on trailers. And of course, most of the owners are engaged in an ego-driven money spending contest."

Even though a modified HD still gets in the range of 40-48 MPG it’s not enough. Even though nearly 99% of Harley owners rarely put more than 5000 miles per year on their modified motorcycle it’s too much. It’s too much that 100 modified Harleys don’t equal the hydrocarbons in a year that one locomotive engine spews out in a day. Screw ‘em, take that money that would go to jobs and raises, those people that work there are just too dumb to be employed, they support the Harley Davidson AGENDA. That agenda that encourages people to get out and explore, to experience life, to see America from a different perspective, to bond with others like them. Screw ‘em, that is too much, these people need to be stopped. Even though most tuners are set to maximize the air to fuel ratio for maximum burn and therefore maximum performance by burning as much fuel as efficiently as possible, it’s not enough. Take them down, how dare Harley Davidson try and improve the fuel system so that the engines do not run too lean and need to be replaced prematurely (which puts even more emissions inthe air at the horrible plant that makes the engines). For that matter, let’s go after everything that people enjoy….I am sure that the plastics in playground equipment is just sitting there all day long emitting dangerous chemicals into the air, lets shut down ALL parks and demolish theequipment. BURN IT TO THE GROUND…we can’thave this kind of behavior. While we areat it, have you been to LA? Let’s make a law banning rush hour traffic, anyone caught participating in traffic should be fined.

Thank you for your service, thank you for helping to cripple a company, thank you for contributing to loss of jobs, thank you for looking at the little picture and taking (ahem) campaign donations to ignore the big one.

BTW, if you didn’t sense it, this is all sarcasm. You are a turd, go **** in someone else’s back yard.

Yes, I know it's a parody. Thank you.

HD now recommends losing 30 lbs to get the same effect as the tuner had for stage 1.

I'd rather pay for a tuner than give up my pancakes.
