How far does a guy have to trailer south into the U.S from Canada to find good ridin weather?

What month and where are you headed?

Once the snow begins here in Michigan if I was headed for decent riding weather I think I'd plan on southern Georgia.

A friend of mine has been trying to get me to go to Florida ad he's planning on parking his rig at a friend's place in Tallahassee and riding from there.

😆 I just landed in Charlotte, and it was 28 degrees. That's 28 degrees Fahrenheit, OP!

I rode from Charlotte NC to Daytona a few years ago and it was 32 when I left and mid 50's when I arrived but dropped into very low 40's late that night (you remember those things when you bring the wrong sleeping bag).

low 60's by mid-afternoon and upper 60's by Friday. Like you say though, mornings can find the thin spots in your britches.

It depends which month. If your looking at early fall usually the US border (Coates) I 15 south has been fine over the last number of years. This year in late Oct to Phoenix it was great riding weather, except for some strong winds in Idaho and Utah.
If your looking at 89 thru Paige and Flagstaff, Flagstaff can get a lot of snow. South of Flagstaff your pretty good all year. I 15 south of Beaver I'm not exactly sure how the weather is to Vegas.

Would Big Bend National Park in Texas be too far? There is some amazing riding there too. Average Max temp in December is 63*F.

Well since you are headed south might as well ride the Texas Hill Country.
PS And don't worry about which month[smile]

South Florida if you want to wear a T shirt and no jacket or gloves.
