I also have a Schuberth C3 for me and the wife and it is an expensive piece. I can also tell you that the C3 fits very snug and is not really designed for oval heads, it's designed for a rounder head. I had to do quite a bit of work inside the shell to make it comfortable but it finally is at the point where It's tolerable. If you fit the C3 with head-sets and speakers this adds to discomfort and requires added fitting so they don't bother your ears. Just an FYI about the C3! Noise level is good and airflow is decent. One thing I do like about the C3 is the stability of the head when the helmet is fully closed. It's very still and has no buffeting whatsoever. I also like the ratchet type chin strap. If you have a more oval head, I would go with the Shoei Neotech.
Either the C3 or the Neotech are pretty much the top of the food chain when it comes to modular helmets. It a matter of fit at this price point.

I put a Sena 20S EVO on a 3/4 helmet last night and took it for a ride. The intercom worked well but playing music from my phone not so well. My hearing is moderately impaired and to actually hear the music I had the phone and Sena both at maximum volume. After a 15 mile test ride I had a nice little headache. There is a lot of road and wind noise with that particular helmet.
Do full face helmets block some of that noise? Do some of them block it better than others?
