Take a 4-5 day cruise out of Galveston to Cozumel on Carnival...
All the free food, water/sodas you want, nightlife, casino, and just relaxing..
If you're not big drinkers, do NOT get the drink package...just charge drinks to your room..
If you're looking for a touring seat, I just took the stock HD seat off my 2017 RG Ultra this past weekend and will sell it...you can pm me if interested

Neither one of us has ever been on a cruise, well, I floated on some big grey seamen filled boats back a few years ago but, room service was different I'd guess.
i have always sworn that if i get on a cruise ship it's going to be to Alaska. I have friends and family that go, but I've just never been interested in seeing ANY part of Mexico. The cruise may be a different deal though. I'll give it some thought. Being that we live a little over an hour from Galveston makes that an easy one. As for drinking, big drinkers we're certainly not, but we do enjoy having a few from time to time. The kids have put a squelch to the drinking the last few years. I can't in good conscience get impaired while I have kiddos to help take care of.

Carnival you say? Any reason for that in particular?
Thank you for your service. It takes guys like you to stick around for the long haul when there are guys like me who just wanted to do my tour and come home. Senior enlisted leadership is the glue of our military. I'll always believe that.

It starts with replacing the SG seat with a touring seat. Next is to replace the 12" rear shocks with a quality 13" coil over shock. Supply her with a quality mid height back rest and Airhawk II seat pad. Start trips with no more then 200 miles per day and build from there.

I do this. I own a Dyna but no bags and small pillion seat. I belong to EagleRiders and grab a big LTD for the two-up trips. 29 bucks a month and I only pay for the insurance when i need it... Hell, I don't even have to wash it when I get back.
