No matter what or where, ditch the 2.1 inch travel Street Glide shocks. Had them on an Ultra a few years ago. Wife said it was like a sharp pain strait up her spine every time we hit any kind of bump. Went back to 13's real quick.

Once you’ve sold her the trip, take the money you made from the sale and bring your girlfriend on a trip.

Take a 4-5 day cruise out of Galveston to Cozumel on Carnival...
All the free food, water/sodas you want, nightlife, casino, and just relaxing..
If you're not big drinkers, do NOT get the drink package...just charge drinks to your room..

If you're looking for a touring seat, I just took the stock HD seat off my 2017 RG Ultra this past weekend and will sell it...you can pm me if interested

I like this idea. It`s something way out of the norm with new experiences for both of you to share.

Neither one of us has ever been on a cruise, well, I floated on some big grey seamen filled boats back a few years ago but, room service was different I'd guess.

i have always sworn that if i get on a cruise ship it's going to be to Alaska. I have friends and family that go, but I've just never been interested in seeing ANY part of Mexico. The cruise may be a different deal though. I'll give it some thought. Being that we live a little over an hour from Galveston makes that an easy one. As for drinking, big drinkers we're certainly not, but we do enjoy having a few from time to time. The kids have put a squelch to the drinking the last few years. I can't in good conscience get impaired while I have kiddos to help take care of.

Take a short one to Cozumel...that will determine if you like cruising before jumping on the long Alaska cruise.

Pics of seat available..

Carnival you say? Any reason for that in particular?

Thank you for your service. It takes guys like you to stick around for the long haul when there are guys like me who just wanted to do my tour and come home. Senior enlisted leadership is the glue of our military. I'll always believe that.

All excellent points. Just taking care of the last of these recommendations for my wife. Have the Corbin Classic Solo, but now adding the Touring pillion for her. Along with the Air Hawk, should make her smile.

My wife didn’t like the softail, but she loves the LTD.
Wish I had waited for the 17’s. LOL
I do this. I own a Dyna but no bags and small pillion seat. I belong to EagleRiders and grab a big LTD for the two-up trips. 29 bucks a month and I only pay for the insurance when i need it... Hell, I don't even have to wash it when I get back.
