Anyone have any bad experiences with cell phone / GPS holders with the built in USB port

Totaled my FB Lo, RAM grip held, phone stayed in it. Was planning to use it on my next bike if I get back to it before insurance hauls it away.

Keep the phone in your pocket. If it is on the handlebars you are going to look at it and play with it. Everyone complains about the idiots in cages looking at their phones, and you want to be on your bike looking at your phone.
Don't say you ain't going to look at it either, if you ain't going to look at it you don't need it on your bars.

I have the HD universal cell phone mount with attaches to the throttle mount screws. It comes with chrome screws, but I changed them to black. I use my phone to play my music through the USB connection. If I see a phone call I just ignore it until I can safely pull over to return the call.
