Default River Road Saddlebags

Anyone ever try the River Road brand saddlebags on Ebay? Not wanting to spend a fortune on bags I'll only use once in a while...Dont want to waste $$ either...Example:

I had a set of the RR slant bags on a Honda VTX about 5 - 6 years ago. About 4 years on that bike (only took them off to clean them up for winter storage) and they held up well. The material was quite stiff, as I recall. Also had the plastic buckles under the the lid straps, which was nice. Not secure though, just unloaded them at night at a motel. You will want to have saddle bag guards on your bike to keep them away from your rear tire, though.

I had a set of the large slant style throwover bags on an old wide glide I had. I thought there worked great! They held alot of stuff, I never had an issue with them. I sold them with the bike but would definitely buy another pair.
