Default Quick question

When I bought my bike used it came with this 21" detachable windshield. The first clip picture shows how the clips were placed when I got the bike. The second clip pictures shows a way I thought maybe the clips were supposed to be. The first way does nothing to retain the windshield on the bike. Can somebody post a pic or something showing how the clips should be placed in order to work correctly? I assume the original dealer installed this FWIW.

Thanks, Chris-

First pic is right. Yours is wrong. Switch them back to the way they were.

Your way actually allows more movement. Think about it.
