I am taking a couple of guys from out of state n a ride tom orrow starting in Ventura, CA. I don't really know my way around the roads up there like the 33. Does anyone have a good route for us to use? We would like to end up down in Los Angeles. We are going to lunch in Culver City and then on to Bartel's Harley. I just don't know the Ventura county roads too well. Thanks in advance. If anyone else would like to join us that would be great as well. We will be meeting at 11 in Ventura.

 

How about heading down the 150 to Santa Paula. From Santa Paula you can go through the orange groves (staying off the 126) and head down to Moorpark. From there you could stop at the Rock Store and head to the coast and take it all the way to Marina Del Rey. Id love to join you but I got no girlfriend that day so that means Ill be on the Ducati. Have fun.

 

If the weather is hot I would just head southto the 1 really nice there by Pt. Magu. Stop at Neptunes Net and then take a canyon to Mulholland Hwy (pick one, you know those I believe) visit the Rock Store and take another canyon back to PCH and then head south.

We did 150 and 33 this past weekend (twice as it turned out). Real nice and twistie and depends what you wanna do. Traffic coming back was real bad on 101 so jumped on 126 to 118 and took back way into Simi. I personally don't recommend 118 during the week or when the trucks are really rolling. But you do bypass alot of traffic.

The simple way? 101 down to PCH... (or shoot pch all the way thru oxnard, it breaks off about 10 minutes south of Ventura on the 101. Then do the usual stuff down PCH
