Toll $ on IL88

Taken mama up to lake geneva this Friday for the weekend and was wonder what the total tolls were from Rockfalls to Rochelle? Then head up 39 to 43, like to stick on the slab and make some time.

I can't remember exactly, but that's one of the pricier legs of the Reagan Memorial. Too bad you didn't have extra time, the ride up IL 2 along the Rock gets you to the same area with much better views. Shouldn't be that much more time seeing that it's more of a straight line to Rockford. Then you can shoot up the old, pre-I39 bypass (Il 251)

Thanks chiabate, We've been up IL2 a bunch of times and that's what I"ll do next time. 39 north into and pass Rockford was a pain due to the construction, semi and cages were doing 55-60 in the 45mph limit..........not fun. But we had a great weekend and the weather was perfect.

Great to hear of the good time. You gotta remember the 2 seasons around here. Snow and Road Construction! Sometimes the scenic route is faster than the ever-under-construction superslabs.
