I had this same problem and it was the o2 eliminator from dynojet that was bad. Sounds like you have the same problem.

You can get that code if you program your PCIII withthe bike running and the 9V adapter attached at the same time Clear out the codes and you should be ok. If it keeps coming back after you've cleared the codes, put a little dielectric grease on the front O2 sensor connector and reattach the O2 eliminator. If that doesn't do it, then the O2 eliminator is probably bad.

 

Mine did the same and it was the O2 eliminator. If you pull the tape off of the plug, there's a 1/4 watt, 1 megohm resisitor hat's in heat shrinki tubing. Get a 5 pack from radio Shack, part # 271-1356 for around $1.25. Wrap it back up, insert back into the elininater, tape and your good to go.
