Default good boot insole at reasonable price?

I just got some chippiwwa rally boots, Anyone use a nice boot insole for comfort? Not something real expensive. There are so many and it's confusing....just something for more comfort.

I got some of those Dr Sholes $2-3 insoles in them but I was wondering if any of you knew of something that worked well for more money I am sure

I own a shoe store and have customers bring their boots in and try out the different ones. You could look into the Spenco brand. They usually run about $20 or so, but should last a year and definately more comfortable than what you get in a pair of boots.

I'll cast another vote for the SpenCo. I started wearing them when I worked in a shoe store and have never quit. I run with them in my running shoes, and use a set in my work boots.

I think they actually prolong the life of the shoe because the insole absorbs some of the pressure/impact rather than the composite/foam insole/cushion between the sole of the shoe and your foot.

All the shoes I've had with them in seem to last longer. And at $20.00 I think it's reasonably priced (for the compfort).

Another vote for the Spenco. I have bad hips from an accident in 95 and they are the best for comfort and in my case low to moderate constent pain. $20 is a low cost for comfort.

Dr. schoals work boot insoles. About $10. Use them in my work and riding boots.

I'm going to try a pair of the cheapos. If they're no good, I'll go with a more expensive insole.
