Chippewa question/help?
Based upon recommendations here and elsewhere I bought a pair of Chippewa Engineer boots ( 11" Odessa) to ride in. For those that have them, is it just me or are these things a cast iron bi**h to put on? I recall someone saying in a post a while back it like having velcro for socks since the boot shaft is unlined but geez. Once the boot is on, they're comfortable enough ( walking around on a rug)- but is the on and off going to improve ( besides the velcro effect they seem really tight between the shaft and instep when inserting your foot). this is not my first pair of boots, or eevn first pair of pull ons. thanks.
I got a pair that Ive had for two year's That I use as riding boot's and youre right they are comfortable when you get them on but mine are still tight to put on.
I have had mine for a year now and they do take a bit of a tug to get on but I have never had too hard a time. As a matter of fact I can even get them on with two pair of socks although they are quite snug then.
