Clearview Windshield Install Question
Howdy,
Hola, (politically correct greeting)
I am in the process of installing my Clearview GT Plus with tint and vent windshield on my Road Glide,
My question is,
I am considering leaving the protective film that came on the shield on, in order to protect the new windshield from bugs and road debris longer,
Good idea?
Anyone else think of this idea already??
Ooops, that is two questions, sorry,

RE: Clearview Windshield Install Question
Take the plastic off. You don't need it. The clearview windshield is a very good product and cleans easy and I have not noticed that any bugs have caused a problem with scratching or pitting the windshield.

RE: Clearview Windshield Install Question
Leave it on long enough to make sure it fits since they won't take it back if the film is off. But once it's on and you know it's the right height, etc, pull that stuff off.
