I have a 98 super glide an my friend gave me a windshield and mounts. The installation looks easy. I mounted the brackets and the windshield. My question is the mounting the windshield, I put the bottom of the shield on first then the top goes on everything is great shape in but when I pull on the shield she pulls of the top. Is that what suppose to happen or do I drop the top bracket down alittle. She doesn't pull off easy but it will pull off.I know that riding the wind keeps the shield back but wondering about it. Thanks

 

Are there any holes in the windshield anywhere? Like for a mounting bolt?

 

No . It has 4mounts that gets mounted on the fork tubes

 

Its a bit difficult to visualise this, can you post a couple of photos?

 

If it is a quick detach, are the spring clips engaging on the mounts?
