Well I went out and found my son a scoot. I found him a 93 Honda Shadow 600. It needs alittle work but thats ok, back to the garage time together. It needs some carb work and a few other little things but that way he knows how it goes together. Once it is running good then the tear down begins. Were going to go for that ol school bobber look. Flat black paint, apes, wrapped exhaust. He will turn 16 in Sept and be able to get his regular licence, then I am going to make him take the safety course (Got a buddie that teaches it) and we can go from there. He really likes it and I think he will enjoy bringing it to life. Here is a pic of him when I brought it home on Monday.
Thanks for all the input guys!

Joker that is awesome! I hope the two of you have some great rides together and create some GREAT memories!

My hat is off to you for taking the time to spend it with your son like this...neither of you will ever forget it.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I really hope this is something that we do thogether. I know I kinda spoil him but he is my only son and I about lost him at the hands of a babysitter when he was 2 1/2 so ya I spoil him. One of these days I will be gone and I want him to be able to look back and remember who I was and what I stood for. He is a good kid and Im very proud of him so what the hell.
Thanks
